1980s 1990s 80s 90s Vintage Kids Prairie Cottage Cottagecore Bonnet Victorian.
1980s/1990s mint green, yellow, and salmon pink floral calico prairie-style bonnet! I originally thought this was a 1960s/1970s prairie fashion bonnet, but the tag makes me think it’s a later costume piece. Pleated ruffle on visor, ties under the chin, elastic gathering at the back. So cute!
-Tags: One tag gives comp, size, origin, and maker, which is “Lestz & Co.”
-Closure: Ties under chin.
-Comp: Tag says it is “polyester and cotton,” but doesn’t give percentages.
Marked size medium. This is probably a kid’s size, because it doesn’t really go on my head at all. Recommended for small heads and/or kids about 8 to 12 years old.
Brim measures 7.25” tall when folded in half.
Back elastic area measures 5” unstretched and 12” fully stretched.
Neck ties are both 13” long.
Condition: Excellent condition! Fabric is fairly crisp, no flaws to note aside from a loose thread, pictured. Possibly never worn. The ties do have some creasing from being tied and untied.
