Mercedes1987 Mercedes 300-class Catalog
Prestige US-Model Brochure
Mercedes began its second century with a line of 14 cars. Four of these were from the 300-class (or E-class). These were:
260E
300E
300D Turbo
300TD Turbo Wagon
The 260E was a smaller-engine version of the 300E with a little less equipment. It represented the ‘value’ car of this class.
The 300E was the most popular one with the highest sales.
The 300D Turbo was designed for those with fuel efficiency and longevity in mind.
The 300TD station wagon, the most versatile with seating of up to seven people.
It was introduced new for the
US
market in the new body style this year.

There is also a technical specification sheet of four pages included which also has a chart of standard and optional equipment.
