First of all, this is the pretty brochure that Mercedes printed for the
1998 SLK Coupe/Roadster for the
US
market
.
The brochure is smaller but very, very pretty and colorful, almost a piece of art with many pages of details, description, and discussion.
The Cover is
silver
(Mercedes most popular paint color) and has
machined holes in the cover
that are part of the SLK trademark interior.
In the brochure the SLK is shown in many different colors, including
Brilliant Silver,
Bahamas
Blue,
Sunburst Yellow,
and
Magma Red.
The interior is shown in a large four-page foldout in
salsa
– truly a beautiful interior to look at.
The standard wheels are show in addition to some accessory wheels that are available from Mercedes as custom wheels.
Also shown is
a 190SL
with a
SL500 and SLK230
all on one page.
In addition, many of the features, including the
Vario
Roof
, and the sounds system are discussed and pictured.
Many other details are shown and described.
The brochure certainly does justice for such a nice, unique, and exciting automobile.
