This is my version of the typical Leica  Dovetail "New and Improved" with C Mount  developed for users who have a Leica 35mm HC trinocular port on their  microscope.  The improvement allows you to attach to other T2 pieces  such as camera bayonets without the C Mount bottle neck.  This helps  eliminate Picture Framing.
This is the item you are  purchasing. All new version of the Leica Dovetail  which measures 34.3mm and is typically used in the 35mm Leica trinocular  tubes.  The piece is constructed with additional options. You  can use traditionally for USB cameras or other C mount cameras.   Or you can remove the C Mount and place your camera with applicable  T2 Bayonet directly on.  The length of the tube is designed  with correct focal length for cameras useing the APS-C sensor. See  pictures below.

Applications
The above Leica HC dovetail  (center) with camera Bayonet removed and then a C-Mount on (right  side) and screwed on to the adapter (left side).
Leica HC with C Mount to a  USB camera.
Attached to a Nikon DX DSLR with APS-C  Sensor.
Leica HC 35mm adapter  attached to a digital camera and microscope used on APS-C sensors or  less.
Note: The majority of digital cameras use this  sensor.  Contact me if you have a camera and want to know the  sensor size
This is a Full Frame camera attached  to a leica microscope using the above adapter and various pieces for  extension to show the correct screen view.
Note: Full Frame cameras use a larger sensor  size
