Antique Swiss Infant Appenzell Embroidered Hand Made Baby Bonnet Drawstring

This gorgeous antique baby bonnet is a fine example of Swiss Appenzell embroidery work, on sheer white silk with the tiniest drawstrings to ruch the front. Wheat swags are embroidered along the front, and the back crown cap is a tour de force of embroidery work in miniature. All hand sewn, there is one very tiny old mend on the bonnet and some of the tiny drawstring has popped out of a worn piping along the front edge.
