Antique Art Nouveau Wired Art Glass Bead Bronze Brooch & Earrings SET!
For your consideration:
This exceptional brooch and earrings set has all the hallmarks of the art nouveau period of 1890 - 1910: flowing lines, the use of nature, and a sensual aesthetic.  It has hand-wired glass beads resting on a bronze grape leaf, touched by wire tendrils that encircle the design.  The tube closure on the brooch and the earring clips are of the period, as is the construction.
During this moment in time, women were beginning to shed the cumbersome style of Victorian clothes, bicycles were the rage, nickelodeons and vaudeville acts provided enjoyment, golf and lawn tennis were popular, Queen Victoria had died, inventions were blossoming - and, a young woman purchased this "new style" brooch and earrings set.  The story does not end there.
MAKER~
The brooch and earrings are unsigned.
SIZE~
The brooch measures 1-3/4" in length and is 1-3/4" at the widest point.  The clip back earrings are  1" x 7/8".
CONDITION~
This set is in Excellent Antique Condition!  There are no missing design elements.  There is no metal corrosion.  The pin back and earring clip backs are in good working order.  There are no repairs or alterations.  This set is ready-to-wear!
