    This is an exquisite antique French pretty lace baby bonnet, likely for christening, please note that the sale is ONLY for the
    BABY BONNET
    All hand-made with lots of ruffles and large silk satin ribbon bows, it is an absolute cutie with an incredible pleated work at the back of the head.
    It has some fraying to the silk lining inside and the attaching ribbon is very very old and worn as shown, due to age/use, nothing that really detracts from its nostalgic charm...
    Christening baby bonnets would often be used several times for all the family children christenings.
    This one remained a time displayed on an armoire shelf without dust protection and has acquired a soft old tea colour shade. It shows a stiffened greyish spot at the back as shown on my photo 10
