An adorable girl's winter hat from the Edwardian Era - perfect for a WInter's Child!
Label - none - the hat was home-made
Color - Cream
Fabric - plush.  Plush was frequently used for clothing during the Victorian & Edwardian Eras for coats, jackets, mantles, muffs & hats.  It looked elegant & had a velvet-y texture.  It was also a very durable, warm fabric.
Description -  face-framing, close-fitting style w/a wide bottom band that ties in front.  Small fold-back brim.  Slight peak in back.  Fully lined in cream satin.
Size - small - depth (from front to back) 8-1/2", front opening (from end-to-end around the face) 18", ties 9"
Condition - very good - no flaws - appears to have been hardly worn.
