Kansas City Starlight Theatre program-Ann Blyth-1969-KC Theatre history
This is a great item of Kansas City memorabilia! Especially if you like local theatre!
This is a program from August 1969, from Kansas City's famed Starlight Theatre! Ann Blyth was starring in a production of "Merry Widow" by Franz Lehar. Ann Blyth was a well known and accomplished actress. Her big break was in the movie "Mildred Pierce" at the age of 16, which earned her an Academy Award nomination for the role. In addition to movies, she also did comedy and Broadway musicals. This program is signed on the cover by Ann Blyth. It is also interesting to read through the program, to see ads of the era, and the concession prices! 35 cents for a hot dog, and pop was either 25 cents or 35 cents! (Starlight Theatre has now been in existence for over 70 years-2020 was the first time ever that they did not have a summer season).
This is a great program for any Kansas City memorabilia collector! This is in good condition.
