One pair of hand-made dangle wood earrings on wire hoops.
A unique pair of Handmade Wood Earrings from Hawaii - Hand-Sanded.
Koa Wood and Sandlewood were some of the types of wood used, unknown which type of wood was used for this pair, probably Koa wood.
Purchased directly from the original artists in 1990 in Hilo, Hawaii.
Hand-cut and hand-sanded by a local couple who used only naturally downed local trees, sustainably harvested, mostly Koa and Sandlewood.
Lovely curving shapes, mirror-imaged wood grain and hand sanded to a perfectly smooth surface, they are light weight and beautiful.
These earrings have never been worn.
Hoops are lightweight wire and may be slightly uneven. Please see photos.
