  • Condition: This Vintage Colibri Porcelain Table Lighter & Ashtray set is in overall good condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing in either piece of the set. The porcelain of the lighter and the graphics are in near perfect condition with the slightest of wear on the bottom. The brass plated lighter has some condition issues due to oxidation and the beginning of rust showing through the brass plating. The ashtray is also in very good condition with some minor wear of the gilding around the graphic in the center of the ashtray. There is also some slight wear on the bottom of the ashtray, but there are no crack, chips or crazing of the item. The lighter has not been tested, but the mechanism moves freely and the spring is strong. A new flint and some butane will be needed for testing.

    Description

    This Vintage Colibri Porcelain Table Lighter and Matching Ashtray are in a gently used very good condition.  The Porcelain of both pieces are nearly pristine with no chips, crack or crazing.  There is slight wear on the bottom of each item.  The graphics on the lighter are near perfect.  The graphics in the bottom of the ashtray has some minor wear of the gold gilding around the image.
    The lighter itself seems to be mechanically sound and moves freely and has a strong spring return.  The striker wheel spins with no issues.  The lighter hasn't been tested so I can't say with certainty that it will work and is being sold as is.  It will require a new flint and butane for testing.
    There are cosmetic issues with the brass plating of the lighter due to oxidation and the beginning of rust showing through the finish.  The logo on the top of the thumb actuator is also worn.
