Lovely Vintage HAND CRAFTED ARTISAN Earrings
Alpaca Silver Hand Worked Wire W Centerpiece Of A Hand Carved Soapstone Fish
Alpaca Silver is not sterling but is an alloy of nickel, copper, zinc and iron. Alpaca Silver does not tarnish, rust, or 'turn' another color with time or wear. Typically, this type of silver is used by jewelry artisans in Peru.
Color of fish is a soft warm dusky pink/peach with natural veining on the stone.
All Pieces Move And Swing Freely, Beautiful And Feminine
Earrings Are Drop Style And Have A Kidney Hook At Top
Size Approx. 3"Long from top to bottom including kidney wire. Fish are 7/16" long. Each fish varies slightly as they are hand carved.
Excellent Condition
No damage, no repairs, just gorgeous. Bought these at an Art fair about 25 years ago. The silver is meant to have a mellowed patina, not 'shiny', and please note the metal has not 'turned' or 'greened' over the years .
A great earring pair, will look stunning with any outfit.
